COMMUNICATIONS & DELIVERABLES
-

Hybrid Work
Our team works both in-office and remotely. Please email all files, information, and inquiries to your Project Manager for efficient organization.
-

Email & Teams Communications
Email and Teams are the main ways to communicate.
For quicker responses, include a list or markup images or PDFs in your messages.
If you send more than one email a day or ask for progress updates more than once a week, hourly billing will apply.
Each email should clearly state your name, email address, project (if there is one), and a clear message to prompt a response.
If you have issues accessing email, you can sign up for a free account with Google or Microsoft.
-

Deliverables
All deliverables will be sent via shared links to your email. Please confirm with your provider that you can receive these links and attachments. Files will be delivered as a single PDF, which cannot be separated. Use PDF editing software for reviews or edits.
-

Unofficial Communications
Direct all calls, text messages, and voicemails to your Project Manager using our main line at 248-886-4460 for staff access.
Communications sent to personal numbers outside of the main line are considered unofficial and may not be recorded or incorporated into your project.
-

Texting
Although text messaging provides convenience, it can also create considerable distractions, leading to reduced productivity and an increased likelihood of errors.
Text messaging is permitted solely when clients have expressly opted in, and its use is limited to scheduling or confirming appointments and meetings, as well as sharing quotes and invoices. Communications outside these approved purposes, particularly those directed to employee mobile phones, are prohibited.
-

Voice Calls
Leave voice messages on the main line with your name, email, project name (if needed), and a clear reason for your call to get a response.
Calls over 15 minutes, conference calls, or more than one call per day will be charged hourly.

Graphics & Technology
Share info with digital tools like photos, PDF editors, or email lists. If digital tools are difficult, you can print, sketch by hand, take a photo of your sketch, and send it by email. Clients need basic computers and software; free PDF viewers and editors are available in most browsers.
Below are two editors to use if you don't already have one.
