Design Evolution: From Existing to Proposed to Built

This retail center makeover shows how a simple façade upgrade can completely refresh a property’s identity. The existing building was functional but dated, with low parapets, mismatched signage, and minimal architectural character.

The proposed design introduced taller façade elements, updated brick and siding materials, modern awnings, and a cleaner, more consistent look across all storefronts. These renderings helped establish a clear vision before construction began.

The built result closely reflects that vision—new brickwork, raised parapets, and simplified storefronts create a modern, cohesive appearance. While some details evolved during construction, the final product significantly improves curb appeal and tenant visibility.

This project highlights how thoughtful design transforms not only the look of a building, but its long‑term value and presence in the community.
